What Is Fragrance Sillage?
Understand the trail a fragrance can leave as you move through a space. Sillage is different from how strongly you smell perfume on your own wrist.

A SCENT TRAIL
Sillage describes the lingering impression noticed around a wearer. It can vary with movement, airflow, the aromatic formula and how much is applied.
NOT A SCORECARD
A pronounced trail is not necessarily a sign of higher quality. Some people prefer a scent that stays close to the skin, especially in crowded surroundings.
TEST THE CONTEXT
Try a sample in your normal routine and ask someone you trust what they notice. This is more meaningful than a dramatic projection claim on a product page.
A PERSONAL DISCOVERY
The more you understand what you enjoy, the easier it becomes to choose with confidence. A note list is a starting point, not a substitute for time with the actual scent. Notice what you return to, not just what grabs your attention in the first few moments.
