How Many Perfumes Should You Test at Once?
A smaller selection can produce a clearer decision than an afternoon spent trying everything available.

HOW IT WORKS
Every new fragrance competes with the lingering impression of earlier samples. Testing too many in a short period makes comparisons less meaningful.
WHY IT MATTERS
An intentional shortlist also gives each candidate enough time to develop. You may discover that the perfume you dismissed after ten minutes becomes your favourite later.
A PRACTICAL APPROACH
Choose a few blotters, compare the opening, and then test one or two on separate skin areas where suitable. Leave the rest for another day.
THE XASIS PERSPECTIVE
Treat a fragrance guide as a useful starting point. The experience of a finished product, your own preferences and its label information remain more important than broad descriptions. XASIS currently presents its Signature Five as fragrance design concepts in development; final notes, formula details and availability are confirmed only for finished products.
